Skeletalstripe, Thunderclan DeputyThe skies were painted grey when a jet black tom with white stripes entered the hollow. A storm had hit Thunderclan a moon ago and it was the first Dawn that her warriors could move without sinking to their bellies. During the muddy days only Skeletalstripe was able to help to repair Thunderclan but now warriors could resume their duties. So To get Thunderclan back to full strength Skeletalstripe had made sure to have at least 2 warriors at camp guarding and repairing. While some hunted and patrolled and he began having warriors practice battle moves. Skeletalstripe was glad to be free of the camp although he loved it, being confined to it gave his clan mates all the time they wanted to make fun of him. Skeletalstripe bunched his muscles and leaped onto a tree trunk and dug his claws into the wood. He Grinned to himself as he reached up with one paw and grabbed a paw hold and lifted himself up onto a branch. There he sat waiting for his fellow warriors.

Fawnstep hummed softly to herself as she strolled towards the Sandy Hollow. Starclan knew Thunderclan needed all of the help they could possibly get and this seemed like a nice enough way to start. By fighting practice, hunting for their clan mates, and attempting to repair minor damages to the camp. She had been one of the cats who had been called to the Sandy Hollow for fighting practice and it seemed fine enough to her to go through with it. She needed the practice, as far as she was concerned, and made note to make herself focus when Skeletalstripe started to teach them the knew moves. She slipped calmly into the training hollow and flashed Skeletalstripe a sharp toothed grin when she noticed him perched on a low lying tree limb. "Hope you're ready to get your tail handed to you, Skeletalstripe." She laughed jokingly as she sat down a few feet from the tree and glanced calmly up at the black and white tom. She was all talk. She knew good and well that Skeletalstripe could have her pinned in a second when it came to fight training and simply wanted to joke around and lighten the mood with everyone. Her size sometimes came to a disadvantage from how she used it, but maybe luck would be on her side today.

Skeletalstripe, Thunderclan Deputy
Skeletalstripe looked down at the small she-cat with a slight Mrrow of amusement. "I'd ask you to come into the tree but I don't seek to have you ridiculed like myself." he said. When his scentence was concludded he stalked forward then leaped and flipped pawa over paw. HE then gracefully landed on 3 paws and his tail. He held his back leg as if it had been wounded and limped forward with his tail acting as one of his paws. He growled and slammed his back paw down and flew somewhat at Fawnstep. It wasn't the smartest choice since she was smaller then him, she was able to slip to the side and let Skeletalstripe crash to the ground. He growled as he rose on his small agile paws. His muscles flexed as he grinned and went to pounce again.

Fawnstep watched the tom with narrowed violet eyes of amusement, "I suppose I should be grateful for that?" Her head tipped in that innocent and calm nature of hers as she stood in place, not bothering to move. She had been to occasional training sessions with the tom and somewhat knew how he worked when it came to this. She batted her eyes innocently and offered him a wry smile when he darted at her. Silly tom. She immediately slipped to the side, turning just in time to see the deputy go crashing to the ground, only to bounce up a second later. She childishly stuck her tongue out at him when he went to pounce at her again and took her time, casually slipping to the side from his larger body. "Better speed up, Deputy." She sneered teasingly. She had no problem with Skeletalstripe's history, it didn't bother her like it did their other clan mates. She honestly saw no sense in teasing him about it. So what if he was of loner lineage? From her point of view his parents had fallen in love and everything had went from there. It wasn't his fault that he was of half clan and half loner blood. Therefore she treated him like she did everyone else in the clan. Teased and taunted him, then proceeded to attempt and make friends. She narrowed her eyes slyly and went to pounce on the tom's back. Even if she managed to pin him down it would only last for a few seconds until he threw her off.

Skeletalstripe, Thuderclan Deputy
At that instant he changed from thunderclanbattle moves to shadowclan moves. He flopped down on his back leaving his soft belly fur exposed. As Fawnstep came down she landed on his paws and he shot her back up into the air. He got to his paws quickly and side stepped the she cat as she came down. He put his paw on her spine and used his tail to hold down her lower half. "Anticipate attacks, or take example of the prey. Others can be great mentors without saying a word." Skeletalstripe said to his clan-mate. He grinned and removed himself to allow his clan mate to get up.

Fawnstep smirked slyly when the tom rolled to his back, immediately ready to attack his stomach. She didn't, however, expect to be flung away right before she got close to her position. She sighed shakily and positioned herself mid-air before landing on the ground in a small heap of orange, white, and grey fur, to late to land back on her paws. Skeletalstripe had her pinned down in an instant with his paw on her spine and she laid there with slight annoyance reeking off of he body as he spoke. "Alright, alright, let me up." She huffed, immediately getting back to her paws once she had the chance and shaking out her short and ruffled pelt. "Mouse brain." She hissed good naturedly, swiping a paw at him before pausing to think his last move over. "Isn't that a Shadowclan move? It'd come in handy later on in some battles. Cats wouldn't expect it from a Thunderclanner." She laughed softly, amused at the simple thought of it.

Skeletalstripe, Thunderclan Deputy For once one who understands Skeletalstripe thought to himself. Fawnstep Had been the last cat he would expect to notice the Shadowclan move. "Actually it is. As I had said 'Others can be great mentors without saying a word.' I know a few battle tactics from the four clans but most of them only get me laughed at." Skeletalstripe said. He looked down at his small black paws his ears down against his head expecting Fawnstep to laugh at him. OOC: Out of muse I'll make longer posts when my Glasses allow me to actually see clearly.

FAWNSTEP -
Fawnstep paused curiously, her smile faltering as she thought that over. His words immediately sunk in and she looked at him, eyes violet eyes narrowing ever so slightly. He was smart to have picked up moved from their opponents when they were in the midst of a fight. What a surprise it would be for them to see a Thunderclanner using their moves. A small fit of laughter escaped the she-cat's maw at the thought and her eyes looked at Skeletalstripe in delight, "Laughed at? Why in Starclan's name would it get you laughed at? That's actually quite smart of you. The opposing clans would never expect such a thing to come from a Thunderclanner. The looks on their faces to see us using their moves would be absolutely priceless!" She shot him a sharp toothed grin, please with the thought of it all.

She isn't anything like what I had expected, Skeletalstripe thought. He was awed by what Fawnstep was saying had he actually finally met a cat who understood. He couldn't help but smile at the warrior before him. "I don't know why they have always picked on me since I was kitted. i mean they stopped calling me half blood when our leader made me deputy. Now they mainly call me, Otterheart. Although I know they do I still love the water." Skeletalstripe said. His tail gently twitched from side to side as he looked down. "I don't think anyone aside from you has understood that though." he concludded

FAWNSTEP -
"They don't like half bloods in their clan." She sighed softly, frowning faintly at the thought. She didn't see the sense in such senseless things. They were all cats, what did if matter if another cat was of a different clan or of partial loner blood? What mattered was that there was new life in the clan that would make it stronger and produce more kits for the future of Thunderclan. "They judge cats before they take the time to get to know them. They think because they are of pure Thunderclan blood that any cat of a different lineage who comes along is immediately dubbed as an outcast." She rolled her eyes softly at the thought. All she was saying was true and is internally disgusted her to a great extent. She took the time to get to know fellow feline before she judged them of character, which was why she seemed to be on pleasant terms with Skeletalstripe, because she was actually giving him a chance. "What they need to be is put in their place. You need to show them that you're of a higher rank and deserve to be respected. It's wrong for warriors to disrespect a deputy as such, even if it's simply because they are calling them by a different name. It goes for all. It simply isn't right." She sighed shaking her head softly at the thought. Perhaps she felt strongly about this but it was true. Respect was meant to be given and it seemed no one would give Skeletalstripe the time of day. She offered him a small smile of response at his conclusion and slumped his shoulders in a barely noticeable shrug. "Because I get to know a fellow clan mates character before I judge them. It's annoying for cats to judge each other when they don't even know a thing about the other."

Skeletalstripe, Thunderclan Deputy"You sound as if you speak from experience." Skeletalstripe said playfully. Fawnstep was nothing like he had first expected perhaps he should take up her style and get to know a cat's character before judging them. "Your right Fawnstep I should assert my place as deputy. I deserve at least some respect from my clan mates. Now how about we practice that Shadowclan battle move." Skeltalstripe said as he took a few paw steps away. "First we need to practice how to turn our selves over. to show our softest part to the enemy." He said as he twitched his paws to the side and fell over the opposite side. He turned onto his back quickly and bunched his muscles as if he were about to pounce. Then he shot his legs up into the air. He then turned onto his side and rose to his paws. "Now you try" he said as he Wrapped his tail over his paws.

FAWNSTEP -
Fawnstep tipped his head softly and smiled in amusement, shrugging softly in response to his playful observation. "Mm.. I just pay attention when it happens in clans. You wouldn't believe how many other cats have been in your place before." She answered, sitting down and curling her tail neatly around her paws. She paused at his suggestion to practice and nodded softly in response, paying attention and shrugging. "Alright. Seems easy enough." She answered, pausing to go over the Shadowclan attack before mimicking Skeletalstripe's movements and copying the move. It seemed fairly easy, therefore she already understood how to control it. She rolled back onto her stomach after a second and leaped back to her paws, tipping her head curiously and flashing him a smile. "Was that okay?" She asked curiously.

Skeletalstripe, Thunderclan Deputy He smiled as he watched his clan mate. She had gotten the basics of the move. Although she was a bit slower then Skeletalstripe would have liked but compared to his own first try she was better. "Very good. Now for a move all my own. See when I taught myself the move I focused on how it was done and I figured out it's weakness. See Shadowclan expect to be able to move out of the way before the enemy hits the ground. Well they give you the moment before you hit the ground for an attack. See you can swipe their legs out from under them as you fall. and if you get to your paws fast enough you have over powered the Shadowclan cat cause they expected you to fall. I'll show you if you don't mind doing the Shadowclan move on me." He said as he looked at her.

FAWNSTEP -
Fawnstep listened carefully, her ears swiveled forward and head topped ever so slightly. This sounded quite promising, and if they were to ever be caught off guard by a Shadowclan attack at least some of them would be armed and ready. "Very well. I don't mind." She answered, curious as to how this would actually work out. She dropped down and rolled onto her back to expose her underbelly, ready to go through with the attack.

Skeletalstripe, Thunderclan Deputy
Skeletalstripe growled as he leaped at his clan mate. She had agreed so Skeletalstripe wasn't about to give up. He leaped on his clan mate, who shot himk into the air. Quickly she rolled over and out of the way. Skeletalstripe looked down as the gravitational pull dragged him down. He twisted his neck and tail to spin himself somewhat side ways. He jabbed one paw out as he came down. It went between his clan mates fore legs. He hooked his paw behind her right fore leg and pulled his leg back. It yanked Fawnstep's leg from under her, which in turn threw her off balance. Skeletalstripe hit the ground with a thud but was on his paws in an instant. He put his paw between Fawnstep's shoulder blades and grinned. "That's how we do it." he said triumphantly.
