Silverdove perched neatly on her haunches and stared intently down into the river for a few moments, trying, to her little hearts content, to spot the silver flashes of the fish that dwelt in the wet confinements of the watery depths. Her thin whiskers twitched quietly as the silence passed, her sea green eyes never daring to flick away from the water in case she missed any flashes of silver scales or splashing tails, a small frown of concentration and determination set to her maw as she sat neatly, focusing intently. Finally, just as she was beginning to give in to the impatient seconds ticking by her eyes widened and a huge cat grin spread across her face. "Finally!" She thought, excited as she hunched down, her eyes following the movements of the fish every second as her claws slide neatly from their sheaths. "Something for the clan," She thought to herself, her eyes narrowing slightly as she began raising one of her paws, her ear twitching in the direction left of her. She paused, daring to let her eyes flicker from the fish for a few seconds.
Was that the snapping of twigs? ..Couldn't be, for Silverdove recalled coming alone and having no one follow.
She frowned and glanced cautiously back towards the reeds for a few seconds before shaking her head softly and looking back to the water, still ready and poised to strike. She immediately caught sight of the flashing scales again and lashed out at the water, easily hooking the slimy fish her her skillful claws before yanking it from the water and pinning it against the ground as he flopped and gasped for breath. She smirked smugly to herself, proud of the accomplishment, before leaning down and neatly giving a killing blow to the fishes neck with her jaws. Quick and Neat.

A river? How on earth had he managed to end up here? Coldstream's mind was hazy as he stumbled through the reeds, movements echoing a semblance of grace that was grandly lost by the fatigued choppiness he could feel weighing his limbs. Twigs and dried plants crackled under his feet when usually he would have ghosted silently over them. This was truly a disappointing low for the silver-blue dappled tom. His dented pride was the least of his worries unfortunately, and something that could be taken care of with extreme care later on with extreme care and prejudice.
The night before? He had been with a rogue, something about a courtship right? Oh right, a female rogue he had met up with then left, as was his custom. Apparently, she hadn't been too eager with the relationship status later on and had arranged for another meeting. Stupid fool that he was, had gone right ahead. Never underestimate a crabby female, especially a rogue. Coldstream had gotten a few good hits in himself but was altogether reluctant to hurt any female, which landed him now quite severely injured and apparently lost in Riverclan territory. His sense of direction had apparently been warped by the blood loss, but altogether his whole mind was black and fuzzy. His sight faded in and out randomly and more than once he'd almost walked into a tree or banged his legs on rocks.
It was hard to take inventory when he was so out of it, but to the best of his knowledge the worst injury was a gash along his right side. Coupled with another scratch down his left eye and a few minor cuts and scratches here and there, his condition might be life threatening if left untreated though he was young and strong for now. Still he needed help, but was rather unsure how a Riverclan warrior would react to finding a Shadowclan tom traipsing around their territory.
Suddenly the reeds parted ahead of him and a silver she-cat came into view, fishing by the river. So was he saved or condemned? Well he needed help, that much was clear. Stumbling uncertainly into the open, he flashed a weak, crooked smile over his face. "Hey there, little lady. Think you could give me a hand?" He purred softly, eyes fogging over again as he tripped and stumbled slightly, knocking into the she-cat before righting himself. Glancing up worriedly, Coldstream had the brief fear that he had accidentally pushed her in the river.

Silverdove hummed quietly to herself as she focused down on the river once again, disregarding the horrible cracks of twigs and rustles of grass. It was probably one of the apprentices practicing their stalking, and she'd go along with it for now. She couldn't take in the Shadowclan scent that wafted around her do to the intake of the fishy scent and the muddy river, though she would soon find herself in a predicament she would have wished she had payed more attention to. Her ears pricked up, forward and at attention as she heard a tom's voice. His green eyes dashed up in an instant to lock on Coldstream's body, and she could immediately tell that this wasn't the sleek pelt that trade marked her clan members. The closer he got the stronger the scent became and as Silverdove rose up to her paws to confront the tom for her own answer she took a small step back, her ears pinning back against her head in defense and sleek tail lashing back and forth.
"State your business on our terri-" Her demand was cut off by a small and surprised yelp when Coldstream knocked into her, knocking her over the edge of the river with a loud splash. A few seconds later the she-cat's head popped back up, taking in air and glaring threateningly over at the Shadowclan tom, and angered snarl ripping through her lips the instant she had caught her breath and began paddling back towards the river bank. If looks could kill Coldstream would have been dead quite a while ago. "Damn mouse brain!" She sputtered as she dragged her body onto the land, her fur weighed down with water and dripping. Her green eyes immediately darted over to her fish, making sure it hadn't been knocked in some how, before she targeted back onto the intruder with annoyance rolling off of her silver tabby body in heaps.
"State your business on our territory before I even consider the thought." She managed to growl out in annoyance before she shook out her dripping fur. "It had better be a good reason or else I'll be sending you straight back into Shadowclan's land." She glared at him, keeping her guard up as her green eyes burned and neck fur bristled. As far as first impressions went? This was pretty crappy. Sure she seemed harsh over everything but this was business and she had to handle why this tom was in their territory before she even considered bringing him back to the camp. Lionstar would have her pelt if she didn't have a could reason for it and the last thing she wanted was to get on Lionstar's bad side. Word Count - 452 Comments - N/A

Oh, he had knocked her in. Woops. Coldstream sent the she-cat an apologetic smile as she pulled herself out of the river. "Well," he murmured softly, struggling to form the words right. "At least now I can say that you're dripping with good looks." the tom tried with a broken chuckle, blue striped shoulders heaving shakily with each breath. It was hard to get a definite focus on the female, but looking into her green eyes he could tell she was lovely. Here was a she-cat he wouldn't mind having a little fun with. Amazing how he was able to get his priorities straight at a time like this, Huh?
She didn't seem all too happy with him, something he understood. Sinking into an unsteady sitting position, Coldstream swayed slightly to the left in an attempt to take weight off his bloodstained right side with a small groan. He did not have time for arguments, right now all he wanted was to sleep, preferably in a place that wasn't constantly wet. "I didn't mean to come here.......Apparently, I got lost." the tom offered softly, rolling his neck to look up at the silver striped she-cat with dazed eyes. It wasn't a good answer like she demanded, but it was the truth and that was the best he could do under the circumstances.
A small, broken laugh escaped him before he could stop it, hurting his chest with the movement and causing him to hunch over again. "Send me back? To be honest, I don't think I could make another step on my own, let alone walk all the way back to Shadowclan." Coldstream admitted, though it ground his teeth to do so to a she-cat. Oh, how low he much be looking right now. If he did end up making it back to camp, he'd be killed anyway.

Silverdove glared wearily at the tom with annoyance glittering plainly over her eyes, a frown placed firmly on her lips as she seemed displeased with his flirty comment. "Must be pretty desperate to hit on a she-cat in the opposing clan, huh?" She snorted under her breath in annoyance. What kind of tom dropped comments like that to a she-cat he didn't even know? Who was in the opposing clan? Who currently wasn't on great terms with the hurt tom? She frowned, keeping her mouth shut and hearing the tom out with the rest of his words.
Perhaps it was possible that this was the truth? Even so she'd have a hard time explaining that he had gotten lost, somehow, and wandered into Riverclan. She let out a low sigh and watched Coldstream wearily. "Very well." She growled begrudgingly as she stalked to the male's left side and supported most of his weight in an attempt to help him walk properly back towards Riverclan's camp. Let's go. The camp isn't far from here." She mumbled lowly, beginning to lead him back toward their destination. Word Count - 184 Comments - N/A

Coldstream watched with uncertainty flickering in the depths of his blue eyes, though he tried to hide it anyway. It looked like she found him irritating and the thought made a brief smile cross his sharp features before fading. He needed her help, not her affection. Ordinarily he would have preferred it to be the other way around. "Desperate?" he echoed, picking up her comment with a wry voice. "Oh no, is it a sin to call such a beautiful she-cat such? My words are true and not spurred by desperation, you wound me with such accusations, fair lady." he purred, shoving a look of mock hurt on his face, even through the pain.
When she circled around to help him warily, a mixed expression of bewilderment and pleasant surprise crossed his face. In truth he hadn't expected assistance at all, but rather the continued hostility he had been greeted with. "Ah, much obliged." he sighed out wearily as weight was taken off his side, though he made sure not to lean too heavily on her slight form. He couldn't ask her to bear such weight, and his pride wouldn't allow him to accept too much proffered help.
So she was taking him back to Riverclan then? He wanted to complain but was too insecure in his situation to do so. As he had said, there was no way he could make it back to Shadowclan and nowhere else for him to go. So Riverclan it was, he decided and bit his tongue to stop any complaints. He just hoped they got there soon.
"So, dear she-cat. Would you grant me the pleasure of hearing the fair name of my savior?"
notes: When they get to camp, I can also play Lionstar if you'd like? xD

Silverdove glanced over towards Coldstream in brief annoyance, frowning as she ignored his statements of her beauty. She had no intentions to listen to this tom go on and on over this, acting as the flirty tom, like most of them. She blew out a small huff of air in response to her thankful statement as she thought a few things over, her green eyes boredly scanning the territory to look at the scenery in her thoughts. How would the clan react to this? No doubt they would stare as soon as Shadowclan scent hit them and the last thing Silverdove enjoyed was having all eyes on her. Sure she wasn't incredibly shy but when it was an all eyes of me situation she didn't to grow hesitant and kind of tense up. Even so how would Lionstar react to this? And Sandear?
Would they take pity on this tom, or even believe what he had told her? What if they thought of her as foolish to even believe this tom and drag him up to the camp? For all she knew he could have staged it and was staking the camp out in order to gain information. She frowned lowly at the thought and immediately shut thoughts down. She was letting her imagination get the better of this whole situation. "Relax.. Chill out. They'll understand." She thought as she walked forward at a pace Coldstream could keep. "Silverdove." She answered simply, her green eyes glancing briefly back over towards the intruder, still narrowed and unsure of everything about him. "Silverdove." Coldstream repeated softly, a crooked grin slipping over his face, tugging at the long scratch and breaking the dried blood, causing more scarlet fluid to well up. "A lovely name." he complimented gently, barred tail flicking along merrily behind him, despite the situation. He had no idea how Riverclan would react when he was suddenly towed into camp, bleeding all over their nice clean floor. He had no real reason, and didn't believe that they would consider 'sneaking out of camp to meet a rogue female' a proper excuse either. Hopefully they wouldn't think that he was sneaking around their territory on purpose, or try to keep him prisoner. That would be a royal pain.
"Is that the camp?" he asked tiredly, craning his neck forward as the landscape seemed to change. He didn't know much about Riverclan or its camp so he was simply guessing, but he did hope that they would be their soon. His paws were numb. Not that he'd share that knowledge with Silverdove of course.
"I'm Coldstream, by the way. I-If it matters any."
notes: Yep, that all sounds fine to me. I'll put Lionstar in next post when they get to camp.

Silverdove slumped her shoulders in a small shrug of reply to her compliment. She had never saw it as much of anything. Simply her name that she bared with her as a life long keep sake until she passed on to Starclan herself. Her eyes flicked up to look forward when she overheard Coldstream's question. "Yeah." She answered simply as she looked over at the Shadowclanner with careful and examining eyes. "Yeah. It matters. Because I have to tell it to Lionstar and I'll also need it for your leader to confirm when I drag you back to your camp once all of this is over." She stated lowly and simply before turning to look forward again, leading him into camp. Word Count - 121 Comments - Alright. (:

Coldstream chuckled and looked ahead at what was now the confirmed camp of Riverclan. Honestly, it didn't look like anything impressive from where he was standing, but maybe that was because he was so used to marshes. "Looks lovely." he purred uneasily, flashing the she-cat a humorous smile before composing his face and following her into camp, deciding to act serious for once in the unknown situation. At times like this, Coldstream's defense was usually his upbeat humor, but he doubted that would be of much help here.
"You're still on that? Awfully single minded, aren't ya?" Coldstream whispered, looking around with sharply curious eyes. "Hate to disappoint you, but it honestly doesn't seem like I'll be going anywhere anytime soon." the tom breathed harshly in Silverdove's ear, eyes narrowed snappily. She made it sound like he wanted to be in this situation. Well, arguing with a moody she-cat was not how he had planned to spend the day at all. Nor was he prepared to become a prisoner to some fish-eaters. Stopping in the middle of camp, subjected to heated stares of hostile curiosity, Coldstream sighed.
"This is ridiculous."

It was thankful that Lionstar had opted to eat his lunch outside today, otherwise he would have missed the grand entrance of his warrior and some Shadowclan cat. That would have been most unfortunate. The long-furred golden tom finished his mouse before moving, whatever this problem was it could wait till he was finished. Swiping a tongue over his tongue, Lionstar stood and made his way leisurely over to the pair. He knew Silverdove on sight of course, but not the seemingly injured tom leaning on her shoulder. He smelled of Shadowclan though and that was enough to make Lionstar curious and guarded.
"Silverdove," he greeted the she-cat by her name a a brief nod before continuing. "Who do we have here?" Lionstar left the question open for either cat to answer, though it seemed that the tom was prepared to toppled over given a strong gust of wind. He'd need to be treated of course, Lionstar couldn't very well send him home or keep him here without getting his wounds seen to. However, he was more interested in finding out where the wounds came from and how the Shadowclanner had ended up in Riverclan, and with Silverdove.
Keeping a respectful and attentive silence, Lionstar waited to be answered.

Silverdove's ears laid back on her head in brief annoyance, her eyes cutting over in a faint glare directed towards the Shadowclan tom cat as he ignored his comment of her single mindedness. "Yes. I know that, but eventually it will be over and you will be going straight back to your clan, so it's best to deal with this now." She answered straight forward and leaving it all at that. She paused when she noticed Lionstar and sighed lightly, watching him in respectful silence as he spoke. "His name is Coldstream of and he is of Shadowclan. He stated that he got lost, though I have no idea how that's possible, and ended up in our territory. He obviously needs medical treatment and it's best we do so now and ask questions later should be want to get a good answer out of him." She stated with calm and cool green eyes.
