Roxanne
You don't have to put on the red light You don't have to wear that dress tonight Walk the streets for money
You don't care if it's wrong or if it's right

The lights of the city brightened as the light of the world began to disappear. In its all precious glory it was attributed to having, it was weak. Yes, I warmed the earth and all inhabitants, but it disappeared for a space of time, letting evil and darkness corrupt its precious beings. Only to rise again and demand worship and dependence. Its disappearance was an act of wrath. It wanted to remind everyone what it was like without it - what would happen if it disappeared all together. And as slowly faded it casted upon the sky hues of pink and orange and purple, shading the world in magnificent glory as a show for what all was possible. It was arrive again in the morning in the same way. It was a showy being, one that was arrogant and egotistical.
She preferred the night. Night was calmer, smoother. It had a way of creeping upon you and then slowly leaving. It was stealthy in its corruption. It was content with its space of time that most slept through. It did not demand worship. It did not show off its powers. Night let the moon, an agent of the sun, intrude to give light, but stipulated its light in cycles. It was half dark and half light this night.
As the sun completely disappeared, the air began to cool. A soft breeze flowed through the air, whispering to all who cared o listen. A dark, almost black, brown tabby pelt sat upon to roof of a building, watching the world pass by silently. She absorbed everything her amber eyes could see as she kept her body still. She thought if she could sit still long enough that she could fade away like the night. No one would miss her, after all.Oh my precious sister, that's where you're wrong.
The she-cat whipped around, standing up as she did so. Her eyes searched the roof, but saw nothing. It couldn't be. She was imagining things. She turned around back toward the west again, trying to forget what she had heard.Over here Roxanne. This time when she turned around she was face to face with a white and brown she-cat. Roxanne's eyes widened as she whispered no to herself. She backed away, or tried to, put her paw only found the edge of the roof.
You killed me for what? For approval!? You were always jealous of me! ITS ALL YOUR FAULT IM DEAD. I was no much for a skilled soldier like you! It was unfair! You took advantage of me!You betrayed the republic! You deserved to die! GET AWAY! Roxanne yowled the words aloud, trying her best to keep away from Raz's vengeful gaze. Her sister came at her, and Roxanne backed away. Panic spread through her body as she felt the roof Falk away from under her back paws. She slid downwards, fear pulsing through her veins.
Thankfully, her front paws caught the edge. Her claws gripped onto the edge, and for now they were fine, but they would not be for much long. She was strong, but not strong enough to pull herself up alone. She let out a yowl for help, a screeching, piercing yowl. Someone in the building would surely hear her. Someone. Anyone.R O X A N N E
