Coldstream takes after his mother in looks. His pelt is snowy white over layed by blue tabby streaks, hence his name. Another trait he inherited from his mother was his strange ears, which are carefully rounded into delicate shells and slightly flicked back. His eyes are a deep ocean blue, not becoming an especially prominent feature, as they tend to shade around the same color as his surrounding fur. Unlike his siblings, his fur is short and easily kept, meaning he doesn't have to spend arduous time grooming it.

Coldstream is tall, with long, thin legs and a long tail to match. He is not particularly broad or strong in the shoulders or back for fighting, but he is swift of foot and mind to make up for it. He has very sharp features on his face due to his angular bone structure and short fur making his features more obvious. In this way he is often considered ruggedly handsome by the she-cats of the clan.

Coldstream is a bit of a flirt and makes no effort hiding it. He knows he has good looks on his side and is the kind of tom that can walk up to anyone and start a casual conversation as if they were old friends. He has no problems with having flings of any kind with a she-cat, and can be careless about the females he might hurt. Despite his romantic nature, he has never once felt real love, but would give up everything in a heartbeat if he found it.

Coldstream is an easy guy to get along with, since he is slightly goofy and always ready for a joke. Being calm and cheerful in everything he does, he is a loyal warrior at heart and would do anything for his clanmates. If the situation were to call for it, he does have the ability to become serious and when he puts effort into it, the tom is smart and calculating, particularly in battle strategies.

Coldstream and his siblings were born in the middle of leaf-bare, which definitely wasn't ideal for a queen and three kits. There was worry at first that the kits would grow up malnourished, or not make it at all, but all three were fighters. With the support of the clan behind them, all three kits survived to the coming new-leaf and only grew healthier from there.

From the start it was clear that Coldkit was the social one, striking up easy banter with whoever it was he came across. With this attribute he often found himself in the elder's den listening to stories and joking away with the old cats of the clan. Once he'd even ventured into Ferretstar's den and had a casual conversation on which type of prey she preferred.

Coldpaw was named an apprentice beside his siblings Crowpaw and Wolfpaw, paired with the mentor Softcloud for his training. Training was enjoyable, though sometimes Coldpaw believed that his mentor didn't push him hard enough. Crowpaw had been paired with Jetfire, Softcloud's mate and because of this the two often trained together. He found that Jetfire was Softcloud's opposite, pushing the brothers too hard, and their training was then softened by Softcloud's gentle nature. It became clear why the two warriors were made for each other.

It was during their apprenticeship that Russetsong, who had actually been given Wolfpaw as his apprentice died. Wolfpaw had rushed ahead into the swamp and got caught in a sinking bog. While Russetsong had been able to save his daughter, he had gotten himself trapped and help arrived too late.Everyone mourned, Wolfpaw most of all, because she blamed herself for her father's death,

They three, along with two other apprentices who had quickly fallen for Coldpaw's charms and became his fangirls were made warriors together. Coldpaw became Coldstream, Ravenpaw became Ravenfrost and Wolfpaw, in honor of her father, requested the name Wolfsong. Beside them were the two she-cats Larktail and Dewberry. And all five moved to the warrior's den together.

It was roughly a moon later that Larktail confessed her feelings for Coldstream, who had seen her as nothing more than a friend. He neither accepted nor rejected her feelings and proceeded to have a short 'fling' with her. Not two days passed before Dewberry stepped forward with a similar declaration, and he repeated the process. Neither she-cat held his heart, and though he didn't want to hurt them, he wasn't willing to settle down either.

More moons went like this and she-cats came and went, Coldstream developed a reputation for his flings throughout all four clans after an incident with a Windclan she-cat. Though nobody was able to detest him or be disgusted, he was too likeable and too sincere with his actions. Coldstream always made it perfectly clear that it was never a long-term relationship he was looking for, and all of the she-cats he'd been with had been fine with that, apparently. 

It was at his 34th moon that he was given the apprentice of Scorchpaw, a lively tom that didn't keep still most of the time. They were quite a bit alike and Coldstream greatly enjoyed working with the tom. Often he often found himself training Jadepaw as well when Larktail skipped out, something he partly blamed himself for since she detested him for breaking her heart. Jadepaw was the opposite of his brother, with lots of potential and no motivation to unlock it.

Coldstream watched proudly as Scorchwhisper and Jadewing became warriors, the two brothers having become dear to him. It crushed him when Scorchwhisper died, though he was sure Jadewing felt the pain more. He continued to stand by with support as something in Jadewing clicked over his brother's death and he worked harder, earning the rank of deputy. Coldstream himself never had such ambition, he simply wants to find true love. And if it were to appear before him, he would surely stop all of his flings for it.
