Well, we did want something to make the site interesting I guess, so I'm posting my completely weird, bloody, sadistic, creepy but downright entertaining and fun plot here. No, no, I don't mean all the bad words I said above, it ain't all that bad.
Just so you know, absolutely no planning went into this, it just popped into my head literally five minutes ago, and then I was just like: 'Heeeeey!' So yeah.
Well here goes:
Ok, so I'm assuming a good portion of you has read the warrior books? Or at least one of them? Well, for those who know it, do you remember the tribe in the mountains and everything? Well, since we have all the original clans, I propose we also make a tribe. But this isn't no ordinary tribe.....no no no.
You see, this tribe is fillied with cannabalistic cats. They have their own ranks, the Bone Cleaner is the leader, the Bone Mender is the healer, then there are Death Bringers, which are the warriors/fighters for the clan and Death Hunters, which are the hunters. Their job is to either bring back normal prey to eat, or if they are lucky, another cat.
It works the same as the tribe in the books, they have no deputy, just the Stone Teller, or Bone Cleaner. The names are tribe names, except something darker, like 'Scream of Shattered Souls', or 'Shatter' for short.
They have their own ceremonies and such, and rituals for sacrificing cats to eat them. I'm sure it's very nutricious. Also, many wild animals are cannabalistic to their own race, so this isn't unrealistic or anything.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- - --
Now the actual plot I'm proposing. Cats are dissapearing from all the clans, just one cat from each. And this would be spread out over moons, not all at once. They'll have been taken by the tribe, but the clans all blame each other, and this causes arguments and stuff on borders, gathering ect.
Now, the stolen cats are taken to the tribe and held as prisoners, they are meant as a sacrfice to the ancestors of the tribe, but only when they have enough cats, can they do the ritual. Now, all the cats work together to get a message out, and on the night of the gathering, one chosen cat escapes and runs. He/she enters the gathering, disrupting it and causing panic. They will be half-dead basically, and will tell the clan cats what has happened.
Now, this is where there could be more say. The clans could march on the tribe straight away and attack. Or they could go back home and not believe the cat, claiming him as crazy. But I was thinking, that eventually a treaty or something could be worked out with the tribe, so that it could still exist but not bother the clans.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -- -
Now I know this plot is sounding like a very big and involved plot, so obviously I'm going to need to be working a lot through it, and of course need support from all of you. So if you are fond of the idea or have any suggestions, let me know. Also, the tribe cats will be given out via adoption and one member is allowed two Tribe cats, simply to limit the flow and make sure that there aren't a huge amount of Tribe cats compared to Clan cats. If the plot goes ahead, we'll also need volunteers from each clan to be captured by the clans, be warned that you have to be willing and open to the possibility of character death if you want one of these positions, but these openings and such will be set out later on.

Not to double post on purpose, but here is the simple information on habitat and ranks. If I can get your support on this guys, Leafy has already voted her approval.
TERRITORY Their camp is located in a deep chasm, and navigated by thin trails cut into the craggy walls. Only a small amount of sunlight touches the floor and most cats avoid it, casting their world into one of shadows and ghosts. Only a true tribe cat knows how to navigate the confusing network of paths that make up the chasm wall. All of the dens are located in the wall as well, with the highest ranking members down on the floor where the world is all darkness, and the lowest ranked members near the top, where they must suffer more sunlight. While some of the tribe cats are able to tolerate some level of sun, others are so afraid or hateful of it that these feelings become physical and causes the cat pain whenever they are touched by the light of the sun. Above the chasm, the tribe's territory is made of a vast, open plain much like Windclan. It is here that the Death Hunter's stalk their prey, journeying as far as necessary, though as quickly as possible. They will bring back anything, from mouse, to fish....to cat. Alive or dead, unconscious or still kicking. The fresher the better.
RANKS There are four high ranking positions in the tribe. Being Bone Cleaner, Bone Mender and the two heads, one of the Death Hunters, one of the Death Bringers.
[/b] The Bone Cleaner is the acting leader of the tribe. He is seen as a god of sorts and worshiped as such. Given the very best pieces of meat and treated with the utmost respect. It is the Bone Cleaner's duty to lead his tribe, perform ceremonies and rituals and protect all of the cats that serve under him, if he feels like it. Bone Mender - Open The Bone Mender is the only cat in the tribe with medicinal knowledge and as such, is treated with great respect. He is second only to the Bone Cleaner, and as such is given the next choice over ceremonial kills. The Bone Mender is the tribe's link to the next world and their ancestors beyond. He sometimes takes part in ceremonies alongside the Bone Cleaner, where he purifies and thanks the ancestors for the sacrifice. Head Death Hunter - TrickIn leafbare when food is scarce, it is the Head Death Hunter's job to pick out the weakest among the tribe to kill and then eat to make up for lack of prey. Kits and Queens are excluded from this, but anyone else is fair game and the Head's decision is final. The Head Death Hunter leads the others, organizing hunting parties and dividing food among the clan. They decide who gets what and how much goes around. They are in charge of monitoring the kill pile as well. It is also the Head's duty to find sacrifices for the tribe, whenever they venture out with their Hunters. The Head Hunter is of equal status to the Bone Mender. Whenever the Bone Cleaner is faced with a difficult decision, it is the Head Death Hunter, the Bone Mender and the Head Death Bringer he will call for a meeting. Head Death Bringer - OpenWhen a cat in the tribe becomes old and unable to complete their duties any more, the Head Death Bringer will determine whether or not the cat had a worthwhile career. If they were an honored and useful tribe member, the body will be treated with respect and eaten so that the soul may be freed. If they did not contribute to the well being and safety of the tribe, they will be skinned of their fur and de-clawed then tossed into the river, where their soul will remain trapped. It is the Head Death Bringer's task to organize the Death Bringer's, who protect the clan. He also acts as a bodyguard for the Bone Cleaner when it is needed. The Head Death Bringer is of equal status to the Bone Mender. Whenever the Bone Cleaner is faced with a difficult decision, it is the Head Death Hunter, the Bone Mender and the Head Death Bringer he will call for a meeting. - - - - - - - - - - - - - -Death Hunters:The Death Hunters act as the hunters of the tribe, bringing in food. Whether it be cat, mouse or some other form of meat, they'll eat anything. Death Hunter's are usually lithe and fast on their feet. They are more tolerant of sunshine than the other tribe members, since they spend more time with it. Death Bringers:The Death Bringers act as the warriors of the tribe. They spend their life training and fighting, destined to protect the tribe until they no longer have the strength. They are usually bulkier with muscle, not as fast as the Hunters. One of two Death Bringer's will always accompany the Death Hunters when they travel out, though they are only there to protect. Death Bringer's are usually scarred, if not from battle then from the harsh training they have to undergo. Queens:Pretty obvious. There is an unlimited amount of queens, but they are only available through adoption or if your she-cat becomes naturally pregnant. If the Head Death Hunter or Head Death Bringer are female and decide to have kits, they must temporarily step down from their position and elect another to take their place. When the kits have become apprentices, they will be reinstated. Apprentices:There is no set time for apprentices to be named. They are chosen to be Death Hunters or Bringers at a young age. The Bone Cleaner makes this decision, although he is advised by both the Head's of the divisions. Whenever the Bone Cleaner deems them ready, he can make them apprentices, regardless of age. Okay 1.) Love the Idea of the tribe and the plot reminds me of book six of the origin arch.
2.) I suggest you make a river or lake within the territory since riverclan cats are trained to fight with water. Just in case there is a battle.

They have veins of rivers crisscrossing the territory, but no major river like Riverclan has. I might put a lake in later I guess, but it makes no real difference. The tribe need to have the home advantage on their own territory, so giving Riverclan an advantage like that would just be boring.
As an added point to all, I'd like to have the tribe up and running first off, before the cats are originally kidnapped.

I love the idea and I would like to suggest my already made cat name Bane be the leader, he could adapt to their ways to just amuse them and have power over the clan but the real master of the strings could be the Bone Mender? Whoever that is would be like the one who makes the most suggestions and knows the ritual while big ole Bane carries out the plans. This would be rather interesting considering Bane is an Ocelot so not many would question him, and he could turn on the clan if he becomes bored or finds he doesn't like what they are doing entirely? OR the Bone Mender tries to act as if they have complete control over him? I just wanted to suggest all that but anyhow this has my vote I love it.

So are you saying that the Bone Mender helps guide the Bone Cleaner down the right path, sort of like the Vatican Council and the Pope? (Bad reference, I know) Or, are you saying the Bone Cleaner holds no real official power, but is more of a figure head, as the King and Queen(who were feared) but it was religion that had more a say behind things?
When I first read this plot, I instantly thought of Nazi Germany. XD Well, mainly the sort of dictatorship and killing the innocent. Yes, this plot idea has so much potential! I enjoy this idea a lot. The fact that they live in a chasm makes it even better. I'm totally for the idea for this Tribe. Anywho, I'm curious as to how much religion is involved in this Tribe. Do they only eat certain colored cats, certain genders, etc. Are they like Hitler and favor a certain kind of cat, (Hitler favored blonde hair, blue eyes) or if they hate certain cats (calico cats, cats with green eyes, etc.). Also, because the Bone Mender and Bone Cleaner are respected and such, do they have anything that shows that? Do they essentially wear the bones of the ones they ate/killed, or is it more of a "I have the biggest Bone Pile, therefore I am in charge" kind of thing? Ah, so many questions... XD I know I'm bad at relating things, and I can only think of history/current events to help relate to it.

(Bad reference, I know) Or, are you saying the Bone Cleaner holds no real official power, but is more of a figure head, as the King and Queen(who were feared) but it was religion that had more a say behind things? Well sort of. It'll happen more like this is Bane is the Bone cleaner. Bane is an ocelot therefore no one would question his power in anyway, because well he's bigger than them. Yet if Bane took power he would just do it for his own amusement, the Bone Mender (should be a female) would persuade him to carry out the little ritual plans thus causing the cats disappearing in the clans. Eventually the Bone Mender would believe she had power over the big ocelot who is just doing her deeds as he doesn't exactly have any plans with the tribe cats yet. Then when he realizes it is for a sacrifice of some kind Bane would either agree with it because of the blood and glory to come or he would disagree and rise against them with the clan cats. If Bane was to help the clan cats it would mainly be because Bane likes to kill on his own and he doesn't like to share the glory of being a murderer with any other cat so he could end up trying to kill the Bone Mender for thinking she(could be a he) has control over him and still let the ritual carry out or like I said turn against the whole idea. So Basically everyone would view Bane as the "figure head" and the BM attempt to make him feel as if he doesn't have power but he'd let he/she know that it isn't how it works. Also to your how would the Bone Cleaner show or rise to power, if it was Bane it would merely be because he is a FREAK OCELOT. But the Bone Mender could be the specialist in herbs and consider to have spoken with "the darker spirits before" thus having some odd marking on their body? If it is for the Bone Cleaner, perhaps they won that position in a fight or the Bone Mender picked the most "Brawn over Brain" looking feline he/she could find. Now if Bane wasn't the Bone cleaner, It would be the Bone cleaner is a figure head and the Bone Mender has the real power.
