Brief Appearance - Sleek black she-cat with silvery-green eyes.
Full Appearance -
Duskpaw's name derives from her pelt. Her fur is inky black, dark and sleek and unbroken by any markings. The fur itself is long and feathery, whisping at the ends but laying close to her body. She makes a point to keep her fur as clean as possible, and so it is usually shiny and silky to the touch. Her frame is lithe, thin and airy, and most definitely made for speed. Everything about her is sleek, and she gives off a breezy air. Her legs are long and thing and her paws are dainty. Her tail is long and elegant, and her ears are long and tapered. Her muzzle is long, but not quite noticeably. In fact, all her features are subtle, giving more the feel of sleekness than anything that can be directly pointed out. Her eyes are carefully slanted, narrow and dangerous. They are a silvery hue, with undertones of jade green.
Personality -
Duskpaw is, above all, aloof. She has a distinct mightier-than-thou air about her, and remains detached and distant from all those around her. She is an advocate of propriety and prefers to do things the way they should be done, and yet at the same time is a little bit of a rebel and occasionally challenges authority. Duskpaw does not walk, she struts. There is little patience in her for any who might annoy her, those idiots and naysayers and people surprisingly like herself. She does not make friends, she gathers followers. Woe to you if you should oppose her.
Though she rarely makes close bonds with anyone, she surprisingly always wants to be the center of attention. Despite her attitude, she feels a constant need to prove herself to others and will go out of the way to assist others and participate in anything that's happening. She makes a point of doing things to uphold her reputation. So, while her attitude is rotten and she acts full of herself, she makes sure her self-importance is at least based on impressive deeds. In fact, her whole outward attitude is founded on deep-seated insecurity, and a need for attention and abandonment issues. Duskpaw craves attention and goes out of her way to make she she gets it to keep herself satisfied and calm. Her endeavors can grow outright desperate without enough praise to back them up.
It should be known that Duskpaw is mean. She can be cruel and cut down people verbally and taunt them. She is occasionally ruthless. She is ambitious and cold-hearted, but she has her limits. She would never think of murder as a method for getting her way, and is not especially prone to deceit or manipulation except in a small, white-lie sort of scale. So, while she is pretty much a terrible cat, she is really corrupt or evil.
- Past
History -
Duskkit was born to Nightwind and Blazeclaw, both respectable warriors. She was one of three girls, with her siblings being Berrykit and Swiftkit. Her mother was a black she-cat and her father was a orange cat, and Duskkit was the only one of the three who resembled her mother. For this, she and her mother were especially close to each other. Her early kithood was exceeding normal, and rather pleasant. Her father was closer to her two sisters, and Duskkit was close to her mother. Often her sisters would go to play with her father while she would have conversations with her mother. She and her siblings were growing up strong and showed a lot of potential.
However, when leaf-bare rolled around, both of Duskkit's siblings began to get sickly. At first, all three of the kits caught whitecough. Despite treatment, both Berrykit and Swiftkit began to develop greencough. As Duskkit's health slowly increased, she got less and less attention from her parents as they were trying to take care of her siblings. Being a kit, she didn't quite understand the reason for this and was deeply hurt by the sudden lack of attention. Despite her parents' attention to her siblings, both Berrykit and Swiftkit died. Her parents, now distraught and grieving, were too preoccupied with their misery to pay much attention to Duskkit. Her mother fell into a deep depression. Duskkit began doing more daring things to seek her mother, or even the clan's, attention, but nothing helped. Less than a moon before Duskkit was to become an apprentice, her mother disappeared. Nightwind was found dead soon after, of unknown causes, though most cats believed that she had killed herself. Duskkit then became an apprentice.
During her time as an apprentice, she began to seek more attention from both her father and her clanmates. Her father paid her little mind, still shaken over the death of his kits and his mate. Duskpaw's increasingly obnoxious attitude made it so other cats chose to ignore her. Given all this, she decided that she would find a way to get attention from everyone, feeling that she clearly deserved the attention and everybody who was ignoring her was stupid. She also became hesitant to let anyone close to her, for fear that somebody would suddenly stop caring about her as her mother seemed to have done.

thank you Sharp. Like I said, I will try to be on, but I know the 28th I have 3 tests(one in each class) and after that are my finals, so that will be rough. I should be able to keep things going, but I wanted to let you all know just in case I vanish.
