Skeletalstar walked over windclans territory. He had become Leader of his clan at dawn when Glowstar had died of a disease. He had named his deputy and had placed the burden of his clanmates protection in his deputy's paws while he went to mother-mouth to receive Starclans honor that would make him officaily leader of thunder clan. Skeletalstar walked up to the cave front then halted. He was uncertain wether he should go in or not. His traitor of a mother mared him as a freak in starclans's eyes. Or so he did beleive. Skeletalstar was not ready to face them but then he thought of his clan mates and saw that although they had picked on him and cast him as an outsider they needed a strong leader to look up too. If Skeletalstar wasn't even brave enough to face Starclan then he was not the leader they needed. Skeletalstripe took a deep breath then plunged into the hole.
He moved swiftly down the caves casting his long tail to test the walls. That was when a bright lgiht caught his eye.The moonstoen was lit by the shine of the moon and it illuminated every inch of space in the cave. Skeletalstar walked up to it and dropped sumbissively with his nose against the stone. He heard the medicine cat creep in after him but before he heard another sound a soft scent enveloped his nostrils and he woke in a small clearing. A circle of starry cats surrounded him and Skeletalstripe watched them as faces began to make way from the crowds. The first was one he had only see the morning beore this meeting.
"Glowstar..." Skeletalstar began before the ginger she cat's tail went up to cue silence.
"Welcome Skeletalstar. We have see your struggles and heard your prayers. For this Starclan has seen in you the true heart of a warrior. We are here to award your nine lives for this reason. My gift from star clan is Courage. Courage to stand up for your clan mates and courage to stand up for what is right." Glowstar spoke before touching noses with her former deputy. Skeletalstar felt a bright burn in his chest and felt he couldn't breath and all he could do was squeal for a way out of the agony. As quickly as the pain game it dissipated away. Skeletalstar opened to his eyes to see a new face.
The calm, motherly, bright blue eyes, her silver tabby fur, it was his adopted mother, Stonepelt. She waked forward her eyes full of pride.
"Skeletalstar I saw your struggles and watched you grow into a fine warrior. My gift to you is compassion. Compassion for the other clans and their cats and Compassion fro your own clanmates." Stone pelt said as she touched her nose to his. This time n pain occured as she had died calmly in her sleep. Skeletalstar nodded as he reopened his eyes and was bathed by a scent he had never scented before. A tall white tabby tom walked forward his snout slightly longer then the other cats of starclan.
"I don't think you know me. I am your father, Fang. Starclan found me after my death and explained what I had done to you and your mother. I was so torn I begged them for a way to let me make it up to you. And for moons they had me stay in a dark place. Then they released me and told me you were coming. My life was tarnished and so I give you a life of love. Love for those who you know and for whom you love and those who you hate." Fang said as he touched his nose to his son's. Skeletalstar was consumed with a large pain cutting down the strait of his stomach and felt his own guts leaking our of him.
"Father, Before you go I want to tell you. I love you and even though you made my mother betray the warrior code, I am happy you came to see me become a leader." Skeletalstar said before his father left him forever gone again. The next to appear was a bulky warrior with two claw marks covering each eye. His dark ginger pelt was matted and unruly. Although Skeletalstar didn't care.
"Skeletalstar you were my apprentice. I, Robinpelt, was proud to take you as my own as it gave me a chance to see just how much determination a cat can give to prove himself to Starclan. So to reinforce your ways I give you a life of integrity. May it hep you to stick to what you know is right and block out those who would convince you otherwise." The Robinpelt said before touching his nose to his former apprentice. Skeletalstripe felt his bones ache as a sharp pain crossed his shoulder. shortly after he began suffocating until it eased away.
Skeletalstar opened his eyes to find himself eyes with a sleek black kitten not even tall enough to reach his knee. "Hewo Skeletalstar, I am your sista, Nightkit. I am here to give you a life of loyalty. Loyalty towards your friends, your clan, and above all else the warrior code." The kit said with a soft squeaky voice. She walked up like a graceful fish as it swims the stream. She tried to touch noses with her brother but he had to bend down first. Skeletalstar felt no pain but he felt his tears beginning to form.
When Skeletalstar opened his eyes to find himself face to face with the leader before Glowstar. His mottled tan and brown coat clean and tame like it had been before his death. "Skeletalstar, I was not around you for long I died while you were still suckling. I am proud stil that i am to give you your 9 lives. My life is a life of Courteousness. May t help you in handling your decisions." The cat said as he touched noses with Skeletalstar. He felt a sharp tingle in his chest and the cold of winter consuming him.
The next cat to step forward was his mother. A bright white she cat with bright red eyes. Goldenheart stepped forward to stand level with her son. "Skeletalstar, My life is a life of Caution. Be wary of your feelings cause they will never fail you even in the darkest of times." She said before touching her nose to his. Skeletalstar felt the pain of birth before it ebbed away. Skeletalstar licked his mothers cheek before she departed.
Skeletalstar smiled as the next person stepped forward. It was an apprentice he had been friends with. Sandpaw's tabby tan fur was messy unlike her fathers and her Green eyes were beaming. "Skeletalstar, I give you a life of Strength. to be strong when all else fails to be rock solid when your clanmates are down. To guard Hope when times are hopeless." She touched nose to his making Skeletalstar feel the rush of the gorge, and suffocate for the last time.
When the ordeal was over he looked out at the stary cats around him. They all smiled as they began to disappear. That was when Skeletalstar awoke to the silent dark cave he had fallen asleep in. Skeletalstar now left.

thank you Sharp. Like I said, I will try to be on, but I know the 28th I have 3 tests(one in each class) and after that are my finals, so that will be rough. I should be able to keep things going, but I wanted to let you all know just in case I vanish.
