Brownfrost looked around camp wondering what his siblings in Windclan were doing, 'No, don't think about them they abandoned Thunderclan to live with a father they didn't even know,' he thought shaking his head to clear his thoughts. He stood up wondering what he should do and decided that he should walk around the forest and maybe hunt some to get his mind off of his brother and sister who were in Windclan. He sighed and walked out of camp not really caring if anyone saw him leave camp and followed him after all he didn't realy care what his clan mates did. 'I guess I'll go to Tall Pines,' he thought and headed in the direction Tall Pines was his thoughts still on his Windclan siblings. He caught the scent of a squirrel and looked around until he spotted it in a tree and he slowly climbed up the tree carefully getting on the branch the squirrel was on. He slowly stalked towards the squirrel but he took almost lost his balance making the branch shake and the squirrel ran away. "Mousedung," he muttered under his breath letting himself drop out of the tree and he landed clumsly on all four paws.
He was still seething from losing the squirrel and tasted the air for more prey catiching the scent of a mouse and dropped into a hunters crouch. He pinpointed the mouse and stalked towards the defenseless creature making sure not to step on any twigs that would alert the mouse of his presence. Once he was within pouncing distance he pushed down hard on his hind legs and pounced landing right on top of the mouse. He killed it with a swift bite to the back of its neck and buried it not really in the mood to hunt because it wasn't as good a distraction as he hoped it would be. He sat down under a tree curling his tail over his paws and wished that he had an apprentice or a friend that could distract him from his family problems. His sister Flowerdust was one of his friends but he wanted a friend who wasn't a part of his family.
'Most of my clan mates don't like me though because the take my quietness the wrong way and thinks that I'm being rude, I'm not trying to be rude I just never really have much to say,' he thought flicking his tail back and forth. He gazed around still lost in thought but the sound of paw steps made him snap out of his thoughts. He twisted his head around trying to pinpoint the sound of the paw steps and hoped that is wasn't a loner or a rogue. "Hello, who's there?" he called out standing up narrowing his eyes still looking around.

Nightsky turned from the river. He has spent from dawn until sunhigh thinking at the river about his "problem." It wasn't much of a problem, but more of a disturbance. When he entered battle his mood and attitude switched. He didn't do it purposely, it just happened. He considered himself pretty laid back and he only got serious when he faced an opponent in battle. He wasn't stressed out about it, it took a lot to stress him out. He shook his head. Water had accumulated from the splashing river. Drops fell meaninglessly to the ground. He rose to his paws, turned and started at a slow trot, deciding to go for a small jog before heading back to camp.
The small jog turned into a decent sized one. Soon he found himself at tall pines. Forcing his way through the branches without scenting he realized he had stumbled out into a small clearing. Inside the clearing he scented. Another Thunderclan warrior was nearby. "Hello, who's there?" The shout came from just nearby. He turned and headed into that direction. "Nightsky. You?" He forced his way close to the voice.

Frosbite eyed both the tom-cat as they began to interact with each other. Both had been obvious to her being just seven tail lengths away from them. The white she-cat was crouched gracefully, how she blended in with the tall white grass was another thing. Quiet a skill it was and another reason she was a prized hunter to Thunderclan. If she didn't want you to see her you wouldn't and that was perhaps her only useful skill in battle.
Nightsky and Brownfrost odd in counter, one cat didn't speak much and the other was fairly talkative. This would be amusing to observe. So she settled further into the soft earth as she perked her ears listening to how they would approach a conversation. If it began to become dull she would merely intrude on the conversation, afterall she was very bored and was sick of hunting endlessly.
"Nightsky, you?"
Nice way to start a conversation, she snickered in her head. The white she-cat rose to her paws and shook out her fur, flinging the specks of dirt from her creamy pelt. She prowled through the grass moving with quick silent of a snake. As she neared the two to find them both within a clearing she let out a small chuckle and she weaved her way the rest of the way out of the grass. She darted questions at both the toms, a trio of unlike cats together how amusing.
"Brownfrost company seems to find you when you wish so solitude, and Nightsky what brought you to Tallpines away from the border of Riverclan?"

Brownfrost turned in the direction that the voice had come from spotting a fellow thunderclan warrior approach him and introduce himself as Nightsky. "My name is Brownfrost," he meowed in his quiet voice flicking his ears back and forth his frosty blue eyes scanning the territory around him. He didn't really talk much and hoped that Nightsky wouldn't take his quietness the wrong way and see him as being rude. He had heard of Nightsky but he had never really seen the warrior around camp but he didn't notice most of his clan mates that were in the camp. His only friend was really his sister but he was hated by most of his clan mates for being half windclan even though he was loyal to Thunderclan. He had never had trouble fighting against Windclan even though it meant fighting against his own kin. He had never wanted to live in Windclan unlike his sister and brother who had let their anger at their mother get the better of them and make them join Windclan. A lot of his clan mates thought that he wasn't happy in Thunderclan and that he would go join his sister and brother in Windclan. 'I would never join my clan mates in that clan of rabbit eaters,' he thought lashing his tail back and forth. The sound of another cat approaching made him snap out of his thoughts and he glanced up seeing Frostbite approaching them. He had seen her around camp and knew her very well.
"Greeting Frostbite," he meowed quietly and dipped his head to the warrior his eyes were really the only thing that ever showed his emotions. 'Maybe I should try being polite maybe if I make a few friends no one will care about me being half windclan,' he thought the tip of his tail twitching. My sister is a queen in the nursery and has a lot of friends because she was always joking around with the other apprentices. "How has your day been?" he finally asked his voice was still quiet and it was hard to tell from his voice if he was happy, sad, or troubled. He glanced between the two warriors waiting for them to answer his question he was hoping that talking to them would distract him from his problems.

Before Nightsky could respond to Brownfrost, another warrior entered the clearing. It was Frostbite. "Brownfrost company seems to find you when you wish so solitude, and Nightsky what brought you to Tallpines away from the border of Riverclan?" That was a fairly good question. "Well, hello, Brownfrost." He started. "I have no idea. I went for a run and I ended up stopping here. Maybe Starclan wanted us to meet."

Maybe Starclan wanted us to meet. Rather interesting way of looking at things wasn't it but that was expected with Nightsky, he had a interesting way with things. Unlike Brownfrost who was nearly predictable if you watched him long enough. The blue eyes of the ivory cat slid over the body of the brown tom before she dipped her head and mewed back, "want me to take the black cloud away from you?" Or would you rather me pick your brain to see whats going on beneath that quiet exterior you present. Frostbite had a desire to know everyone of her clanmates brains inside and out. But she knew that would come with time and she could only dissect one cat at a time. With patience came rewards and she would claim her rewards gladly when they arrived at her paws.
Direct, manipulative and a little crazy was the she-cat. She gave Brownfrost an option seeing how he was rather polite any other cat would just be putty in her paws so to say. She cocked her head at Nightsky who seemed to have just been wandering about. Why? What led him to just decide to wander about when the clan had things they need to be done. Patrols were always going about and hunting seemed an endless task so what exactly was he doing just "exploring" so to say. She didn't voice that question not just yet she had patience and knew when to strike and when to not.
It appeared neither would be leaving therefore she would sprout a mind game he had longed to play.

Brownfrost listened to the response of both of his clan mates and thought for a minute before answering Frostbites question, "Ah, I am glum because of the decisions my siblings have made. As kits my sister and brother decided that they would live a better life in Windclan with our father. I honestly think that my clan mates are all waiting for me to make that decision but the thing is I would never join those rabbit eaters," he meowed clamming up after he had made the speech. He might seem to be predictable to Frostbite but his other clan mates were trying to predict something that would never happen. He knew that his clan mates didn't like him because of the fact that he was half-clan and their were even cats who disliked his sister for the same reason. It so seemed that if he was ever going to prove to his clan mates that his loyalties wasn't devided was to try and become friends with his clan mates. 'My brother and sister made a terrible decision in joining Windclan and that has never held me back from attacking Windclan. Of course I won't attack my sister, I would never attack a medicine cat,' he thought flicking his tail back and forth. 'Well now it seems that Frostbite finds me to be predictable to maybe it's time to show her that I'm not as predictable as she thinks I am,' he thought.
"It seems to me that you are awfully curious as to why we are out her. Now may I ask what you are doing here?" he asked her stepping closer so that they were only a few inches a part. He tilted his head to the side and studied her wondering what her answer could be. His voice was still quiet and he was still trying to refrain from saying a lot but he tried to keep his distance from his clan mates but he had made up his mind that he had tried to make a few friends. He didn't spend a lot of time around his clan mates so he didn't know that to most cats that him taking a step towards Frostbite would seem flirty.
comments: his actions to most cats might seem flirty but he isn't trying to be flirty.

A counter attack by the timid warrior. How intersting. That was quite unexpected by Brownfrost. He had no idea that the tom could be so inquisitive. Nightsky wasn't really apart of this conversation anymore, but he stuck around to learn as much as he could. He sat down and waited for the show.
