HALLOWPAW -
Hallowpaw split her jaws into a small yawn as she shifted in her nest and rolled, cringing slightly when she was greeted with a bright burst of sunlight shining in from the open den entrance. She let out a quiet and groggy groan of annoyance and rolled onto her back, staring silently up at the ceiling and droning on with her thoughts. She wasn't in the Nursery with her mother anymore.. She was in the Medicine Cat's Den with her new mentor, Cloverleaf. Uhg.. The Medicine Cat's Den. She knew it all to well since she spent half of her time in the den during her kit hood. She could still hear the shriek of Prancingdeer's lingering in her weak ears.
"Deaf!? What do you mean deaf?!"
And everything had went on from there. At six moons even she knew her mother wasn't in a good state and that something was wrong. One of the most horrible things was that she constantly blamed herself. Honestly, now.. How had she managed that? It wasn't her fault she was on the verge of being completely deaf in a few moons. It hurt to even think about that. How would she communicate? That was the bad thing. She absolutely loved to chat with her clan mates, always straining her ears to catch everything they had to say. Half the time she was asking for them to repeat that last sentence but she got through with it. But.. The Medicine Cat's Den? She'd rather be stuck in the Elder's Den. She had been so excited to train to be a Warrior and when she was announced Medicine Cat Apprentice her whole little world came crumbling down. She would never have a mate. Never learn exactly how to hunt or fight like the Warrior's did.. No. She would be stuck around blood, something she hated, and cleaning ticks off of the elders.
She snorted softly in disgust and frowned, rolling onto her side and letting out a huff as she eventually rose up to a sitting position with her long white fur sticking out in ridiculous directions. She sighed and laughed repeatedly at her fur to smooth it down before she made it back to her paws, shook the ringing from her ears, and strolled to the front of the den to sit down and watch the camp buzz with activity. Some of her former den mates were already with their mentors dying to know what they would be doing today. Yeah.. Lucky them. She knew what she was stuck with. Tick duty.

Prancingdeer-
Prancingdeer leapt to her paws at the site of the small ghastly fluff of fur came trotting out of the medicine cat's den. The little fluff that steadied to a stop was her only kit, Hallowpaw. Frantic crazed queen is what half the clan whispered behind her acute frizzy ears but she couldn't have any more apathy to what they thought of her. She was far too busy worrying her little soul over her small kit that was no too long ago pronounced to soon be deaf.
Deaf.
How could she let this happen to her little one, it was her job to protect her and the queen had with such ease failed? Failure should have been the new name given to her but none the less the queen was still going to fight to keep her kit completely safe and out of harm’s way anyway she could. Nearly prancing over to her daughter she appeared before the blue eyed she-cat with a rush of words and licks over the kits head.
As her tongue came in contact with the thick long fur she felt her body slightly becomes relaxed. Everything is fine, she's right her and very safe. Was all her mind could continue to tell, her as she spoke to her only daughter in between frantic licks. "What do you have to do today? You’re not leaving came right? If you have to let me know I'll go with you." She seemed to be making suggestions but it was a full out demand, she didn't dare let another cat take her daughter out of camp as they always seemed to be ready to goof off and one mistake could cost her the very thing she brought into this world. If that ever became real, Starclan so help everyone because neither Starclan nor the Dark forest could save any cat from her swelling and well prepared wrath for the possible event. "Would you like to have lunch with me later?"
It seemed the queen was one to prepare for the worst case scenario just so she could unleash her wrath and bitterness upon everyone and unfortunately it was true. She was still bitter over her mate's death and the news of her kit becoming deaf wasn't helpful to the grieving session that seemed to continue on forever.

HALLOWPAW -
Hallowpaw barely had time to react when her mother bounded over.. No, she pranced over. That was probably where the white she-cat had gotten her name as she always seemed to have a spring in her step that always overreacted when she was around. She sighed softly and sat down, her ears lightly flicking back on her head as her mother showered her with licks.
"Mom.... Ma.. Mom.... Momma, just-" Hallowpaw sighed lowly and frowned as she was cut off for about the tenth time and closed her eyes briefly, slightly cringing back from the licks and curling her fluffy white tail around her paws.
"Mom!" She finally squeaked in her high pitched soprano voice, her ears flicking forward and blue eyes staring up at Prancingdeer as her tail tip flicked back in forth in barely noticeable annoyance as she rushed to answer the hoard of questions.
"I don't know what we're doing today, I'm going to ask Cloverleaf soon. If we're collected herbs we may have to leave camp- But it'll be okay, Cloverleaf'll be with me and you won't have to worry." She explained, offering the she-cat a small and hopeful smile that plead she would not interfere just this once. The last thing she needed was for her mother to tag along on her first outing with her mentor. She internally cringed at the thought before blowing out a sigh at the mention of lunch.
"Sure, I suppose so." She answered softly, able to hear every word the she-cat uttered since she was hovering right on top of her. She sighed lowly and stood up, shaking out her fluffy white pelt.
"I'm fine, I'll be fine. Don't worry." She answered softly, sitting back down and fixing her eyes on her as she went over the routine.
"If we leave camp I'll be sure to pay attention and listen for anything. I won't get hurt, Ma, honest." She stated softly as she choked down another sigh.
