Cloverleaf
Cloverleaf was sound asleep in her nest she was dreaming of the time she came to Windclan and was badly injured by the dog permanently damaging her face. Her eyes shot up and she let out a sigh noticing that she was in the medicine den sometimes her injury from the dog seemed like a dream. But every day when she woke up in the Windclan medicine den she realized that it wasn't a dream and it had really happened. She could have become a warrior but she felt like she owed the medicine cat for saving her life so she had decided to train as a medicine cat. Besides who would have loved a cat with a messed up face so that had been another reason for her to train as a medicine cat. She sighed and looked at her stock of herbs noticing that she was running low on marigold, burdock root, borage, chevril, and comfrey. She suddenly remembered her apprentice Hallowpaw and looked around noticing that her apprentice was no where in sight. 'Hallowpaw must be in the clearing or visiting clan mates,' she thought flicking her ears back and forth and sighed quickly grooming her calico fur.
Once she was done grooming her calico fur she walked out of the medicine den and looked around wondering where her apprentice was, 'Well I'll wait for her by the fresh kill pile, I was so tired last night that I didn't eat anything,' she thought frowning and headed to the fresh kill pile. She chose a small rabbit from the fresh kill pile and began to slowly consume it her eyes scanning the clearing every now and then for her apprentice.
Comments: sorry about my sucky post and the reason this isn't in the camp is because most of the thead takes place out of camp

Hallowpaw finally managed to squirm away from her mother, shuddering briefly from the amount of questions and shower of licks she had earned from the white she-cat. It wasn't Prancingdeer's fault she was so over protective- Wait, no.. Over protective was an understatement. Words didn't explain how protective the she-cat was. Honestly it wasn't her mother's fault that she was starting to go deaf, it had just been a birth defect from her blue-eyed genes. She cringed slightly at the thought of her mother's constant question, barely giving the little she-cat time to answer.
"What do you have to do today?
"You're not leaving camp right?"
She sighed softly and frowned as that question. Her mother had specifically stated that if she were to leave camp that she was to tag along, no 'if's', 'and's', or 'but's. It was obvious to even a kit that Prancingdeer seemed to be missing a few screws.
She paused in her step as she noticed her mentor and sighed quietly to herself as she started towards the fresh kill pile. Really.. What was so exciting about being a medicine cat? You picked ticks off of the elders, treated wounds, and dealt with blood.. Uhg. Blood. She shuddered slightly at the thought.
"At least try to act happy for Cloverleaf."
She forced on a smile and trotted over, sitting beside her mentor and lifted her ears up off of the back of her head.
"Mornin' Cloverleaf." She mewed softly, her bushy tail curling neatly over her paws.
"What're we gonna do today?"

Cloverleaf had just finished her rabbit when the soft mew of her apprentice reached her ears and she looked up spotting her apprentice and let out a soft sigh. She knew her apprentice didn't even want to be a medicine cat but she was happy that her apprentice at least tried to pretend to be happy. "W...Well we're going to go collect herbs in the moorlands,' she meowed trailing off slightly. She was still really tired but she knew that she wouldn't be able to go to sleep until after the sun had gone down. Even then she might have to deal with an emergency in the middle of the night and have to wake up. She suddenly realized that she was still sitting there lost in thought and she slowly got to her paws. "Well let's go we need marigold, burdock root, borage, chevril, and comfrey," she meowed flicking her ears back and forth. 'At least it isn't the middle of leafbare,' she thought gazing up at the sky the tip of her tail twitching.
"I'll go wait by the entrance, if your hungry then come and meet me by the camp entrance. If your not hungry then we'll just leave and eat later," she meowed gazing at her apprentice. Then she stood up and walked over to the camp entrance waiting for the her mother to join her so that they could leave. She loved being a medicine cat but she often wondered if she would have chosen to be a medicine cat if the dog hadn't messed up her face.

Hallowpaw glanced up at her mentor as she spoke and offered a small smile as she listened, nodding slightly in response as she repeatedly told herself what they needed. Sure she wasn't the best as finding them, heck she didn't even know what they looked like.. But hey. As long as she got to get out of camp for a while she was fine with it, besides, she'd be able to repeat back to her mentor what they would need if she kept it fresh in her mind.
"Marigold, burdock root, borage, chevril, and comfrey."
She repeated to herself, going over them and smiling faintly as she found them easy to remember. She paused and immediately started trailing after her mentor with a mew of response.
"I'm not to hungry, Cloverleaf. I'll eat when we get back."
Word Count - 147 Comments - Haha. It'd be pretty interesting if Hallowpaw's mom tagged along for the trip. She'd be so obsessive over her daughter. Do you want her to come? I'm sure Valk wouldn't mind joining the thread so we'd just have to open it up for her.

Cloverleaf glanced at her apprentice listening to what she had to say before she said anything, "Well, okay you can eat when we get back maybe there will be fresher prey on the fresh kill pile," she meowed glancing around at her clan mates move around camp. She knew that herb collecting could make a cat hungry and she hoped to be done by sunhigh. She stood up flicking her tail back and forth and wondered if there was anything they should do before they left. She saw her brother walk past and she dipped her head to him not waiting to see if he returned her greeting. She couldn't help but think of her kin in thunderclan and sighed she was happy that she had decided to join Windclan as a kit. She had never really forgiven her mother for having kept the truth from they for two moons. Her mother had been the kind of cat who was always telling her kits that a true family didn't have any secrets.
'I wonder if we should bring Prancingdeer along or she might just end up lining her nest with my pelt,' she thought flicking her tail back and forth. She knew that her mother thought that must cats who took her daughter out of camp would goof off but she didn't really play much. She was always to busy to play around and she didn't really think a playful personality was a good personality for a medicine cat to have.
Comments: I hope I got her mothers name right and I don't mind if Valk joins in
