Name:
Pigeon
Gender:
She-cat
Age:
34 moons
Clan:
Loner
Rank:
N/a
Appearance:
Pigeon is a small, thin she-cat. She is built for stealth and silence rather than hunting, but isn't skilled in using this to her advantage. Her fur is mostly white with splotches of ginger, brown, and black on her body. Her face is all white except a small spot of ginger on her forehead and twin trails of black at the corners of her golden eyes.
Her pretty fur is marred by ugly scars around her neck from being tangled in barbed wire that trail down her chest almost to the tops of her forelegs.
Personality:
Since kithood, Pigeon was one for adventures. She enjoys exploring and learning new things, finding new places around her. For most her life she had a kitlike fascination with everything around her until her life changed drastically and she was forced to flee from her home, her family, and her young mate.
After she was gravely scarred, the little calico became more closed off and flighty, likely to try to run from her problems. She is somewhat grounded by her mate, Glass, but sometimes he can't hold her back.
Despite her nature, Pigeon is quite kind and friendly, more likely to react with a happy greeting than unsheathed claws.
History:
Pigeon was born into a small barn group along with two siblings, a ginger she-kit named Wren, and a tabby tom named Tiger. She and her litter were raised by a tom that they considered their father who also happened to be the leader of their group.
She grew close to a kit of the other litter, a white kit named Glass who she began to love as they got older. When she was 15 moons old, a rivaling tom killed her adoptive father and siblings, causing her to flee with Glass to the forest. But she was separated from him, and wandered on her own for nearly a season.
While trying to hunt one morning, Pigeon missed a squirrel and found herself tangled in barbed wire that twolegs had carelessly left in the forest. She was badly injured and fell into unconsciousness, and found herself rescued by Glass.
She healed slowly and was forced to come to terms with her new appearance. Together she and Glass have roamed.

Side by side they ran, paws hitting the ground in sync. Nothing held them back, not since the death of Juniper in the barn.
Thoughts of rebuilding had been the only thing that held them there, but what sort of group could they hold together with no healer? Finding new refuge was the only option.
Pigeon slowed slightly, as did Glass until they were at a walk.
"Do you think Twolegplace will be safe?" The calico she-cat asked, looking up at the taller white tom. He gazed towards the small city, tiny in the distance. It didn't look intimidating so far off, but Glass knew what it was like on the inside.
During his brief time with the young rogues they'd ventured to the cramped place in search of recruits only to be driven away by fierce, territorial cats.
"No." Glass replied, shaking his head slightly. "We have to stay in the forest for now. Maybe if we find a bigger group we can explore there, but for now it's too big of a risk."
Pigeon sighed, looking towards where the lights sparkled far off. She had heard stories of the city, a place buzzing with energy and life. The desire to go to it was almost entirely consuming.
"Please Glass? Just for a few days?" She pleaded, her golden eyes large and sad.
The white tom tried to maintain a hard, disapproving look, but it faltered. He couldn't say no to her no matter how badly he wanted to. With a sigh and a defeated sag of his thin shoulders, he nodded.
"Fine, but only for a day." He grumbled, giving her an affectionate lick on the ear. Pigeon looked like she could bounce to the moon, a type of excitement he loved to see in her.
As the sky darkened, they moved on towards the city side by side.
Comments/Other:
I was considering separating Pigeon and Glass again, but if there isn't an issue with them being mates then I'd like to keep them together.

Name:
Glass
Gender:
Tom
Age:
36 moons
Clan:
Loner
Rank:
N/a
Appearance:
Glass is a tall, muscular tom with a strong build. Though he would make a brilliant fighter, he focuses his energy on hunting. His coat is a clean, short white that is dotted with small scars earned in his time with rogues. He had unusual medium green eyes that darken at the edges, and show all emotion.
Personality:
Glass is a kind, naive cat who has a bad habit of trusting every cat he runs in to. Unless he is directly betrayed, he will maintain a belief that any cat is a good cat.
Despite hardships, Glass is still rather kitlike in his actions, and has maintained his innocence.
When he recognizes a threat to himself or Pigeon, he is fiercely protective and will kill if he needs to. He is incredibly loyal to those he loves, even when hurt by them.
History:
His beginnings were similar to Pigeons up until the death of Cedar, her father. The tom was separated from his mate, but didn't stay alone. He found a young group of rogues with a grudge against the one who overthrew the group.
Most of the adults had been killed, so only apprentice aged cats remained. They were untrained and cowering under the shadow of Spark, the new tyrant of the barn. Glass found them and trained with them, over the time of a season growing strong enough to overthrow Spark.
Their attempt was successful, and he was killed. Glass remained at the barn where an old healer lived, and stayed with her. Shortly afterwards he found Pigeon tangled in barbed wire and brought her to the barn to heal.
